Top Model Finale Scores Top Ratings

Over 916,000 New Zealanders tuned into see Brigette Thomas crowned New Zealand's Next Top Model, in the season three finale, which was broadcast Live from New Zealand Fashion Week.*

The drama and excitement created by combining the first ever Live NZNTM final, with the high fashion glamour of the WORLD runway show, proved a ratings winner for TV3.

Friday's episode was the biggest rating of the three Cycles, attracting an average audience of 438,500 viewers,** compared to 433,000 for Cycle Two, and 384,200 for Cycle One.

Director of Programming Kelly Martin says: "Once again our production team delivered an outstanding season of Top Model, including plenty of behind-the-scenes drama, and the added excitement and pressure of a Live final.

"We are thrilled with both the show and how well it performed in the ratings."

The season finale also produced the biggest viewership spike of the year for TV3's On Demand service, with 15,000 streams of the episode on Saturday alone. More than 377,000 streams of NZNTM have been viewed so far this season, making NZNTM the most popular On Demand MediaWorks programme in the company's history.
