MediaWorks is New Zealand’s largest independent broadcaster, and reaches 3.8 million Kiwis through its TV, Radio and Digital platforms. The company is owned by MediaWorks Holdings Limited, and governed by a Board of Directors; Rod McGeoch (chair), Julie Christie, Martin Dalgleish and Paul Lockey. MediaWorks is led by Group Chief Executive Officer Mark Weldon.

Mark Weldon - Group Chief Executive Officer, MediaWorks

Mark Weldon joined MediaWorks in August 2014 as Chief Executive Officer of the Group, managing the company's Radio, Television and Interactive operations.

Wendy Palmer – Chief Executive Officer, MediaWorks Radio

Wendy Palmer has held senior management positions across the Radio industry in a career spanning more than 25 years. She was General Manager for MediaWorks’ Auckland Radio operation for seven years, having joined the company in 2005 as General Manager of More FM. Wendy founded Market Pulse, a market leader in field marketing, merchandising and customer measurement with offices in Auckland, Sydney, Bangkok, and Cape Town, and has held management roles at Radio Hauraki and 89FM.

Andrew Szusterman - Group Content and Entertainment Brand Director

Andrew Szusterman's extensive TV and Radio career includes three years as Group Programming Director for MediaWorks Radio, and co-executive producing The X Factor NZ and New Zealand's Next Top Model.  A former Head of Music for MTV UK and Ireland, Andrew established MediaWorks' music channel C4 and was Associate Director of Programming for MediaWorks TV. 

Mark Jennings - Group Head of News

Mark Jennings has had a long and distinguished career in television news and current affairs. He joined MediaWorks TV in 1989, and was appointed Director of News & Current Affairs for MediaWorks TV in 1994.  In December 2014, Mark was appointed to lead the integration of MediaWorks' TV, Radio and Digital news operations into an unified news team. 

Tom Cotter - Chief Information and Product Officer

Tom Cotter has 15 years’ experience in developing and implementing digital strategy. As General Manager for Digital Media at TVNZ from 2007-2014 he led the digital growth strategy.  He was Strategy Leader for Telecom’s New Media and Emerging Services, Head of Product and Content Strategy for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (PlayStation), and Head of Games for Virgin Media UK.
