MediaWorks is New Zealand’s largest commercial broadcaster. The company is owned by MediaWorks Holdings Limited, and governed by a Board of Directors; Rod McGeoch (chair), Julie Christie, Martin Dalgleish and Paul Lockey.

The MediaWorks Group is led by Group Chief Executive Officer Mark Weldon, and comprises three divisions, MediaWorks TV, MediaWorks Radio and MediaWorks Interactive.

Mark Weldon - Group Chief Executive Officer, MediaWorks

Mark Weldon joined MediaWorks in August 2014 as Chief Executive Officer of the Group, managing the company's Radio, Television and Interactive operations.

Clare Bradley - Legal Counsel/Company Secretary, MediaWorks

Clare Bradley is a practising lawyer. Her background is in commercial litigation. She joined TV3 in March 2000 and took up the role of Company Secretary upon the public listing of MediaWorks in July 2004. She provides general legal services to Radio & Television and is responsible for regulatory compliance across the group.

Peter Crossan - Chief Financial Officer and Director of Technology, MediaWorks

Peter Crossan, a New Zealand Chartered Accountant, is Chief Financial Officer of MediaWorks. He has held senior financial and general management roles in New Zealand and the United Kingdom in a variety of industries. Mr Crossan joined the Company in November 1999, and is responsible for the group financial and technology functions for the MediaWorks Group.

Siobhan McKenna - Director of Interactive, MediaWorks

Siobhan McKenna started her radio career in Dunedin and has covered many disciplines including copywriting, announcing, programming and management. She spent time in the UK with GWR, and has also been manager of the Solid Gold network and Agency Sales Manager for RadioWorks. Siobhan set up MediaWorks' New Media Division in mid-2006.

Paul Maher - Chief Executive Officer, MediaWorks TV

Paul Maher joined MediaWorks in July 2012. One of the most experienced executives in the New Zealand television industry; he brings sales expertise, insight and in-depth knowledge of the wider television industry to his role. Prior to his most recent role as Sales and Marketing Director at TVNZ, Paul had an international career, including the roles of Chief Executive for North Asia Starcom MediaVest Group and Managing Director for Starcom Hong Kong. He co-founded Starcom NZ, and is a former General Manager of TVNZ Agency Sales.

Wendy Palmer – Chief Executive Officer, MediaWorks Radio

Wendy Palmer has held senior management positions across the Radio industry in a career spanning more than 25 years. She was General Manager for MediaWorks’ Auckland Radio operation for seven years, having joined the company in 2005 as General Manager of More FM. Wendy founded Market Pulse, a market leader in field marketing, merchandising and customer measurement with offices in Auckland, Sydney, Bangkok, and Cape Town. She was Managing Director for the company from 1991-2005 and continues to sit on the Board. She has also held management roles at Radio Hauraki and 89FM.

Mark Jennings - Director of News & Current Affairs

Mark Jennings has had a long and distinguished career in television news and current affairs. He joined MediaWorks TV in 1989, and has been Director of News & Current Affairs for MediaWorks TV since 1994.

Mark Caulton - Director of Programming

Mark Caulton has been part of the MediaWorks programming team since 1998, initially in a commercial/acquisition role, becoming Associate Director of Programming in 2008. He was appointed to the role of Director of Programming in April 2013.

Liz Fraser - Director of Sales & Marketing

Liz Fraser joined MediaWorks TV in November 2012 from MSN, where she was General Manager. Liz has also worked extensively in the television industry - with roles in sales, marketing and programming.

Andrew Fergus – Director of Finance

Andrew was appointed to Director of Finance TV in March 2014 he joined MediaWorks in 2007 as financial analyst, moving to the position of Company Accountant in 2008. He has been the Commercial Manager for the past three years, working on numerous projects throughout MediaWorks TV and Interactive.
