The MediaWorks Foundation is a registered charity that supports national and community charities dedicated to improving the lives of young New Zealanders.
We're are home to some of New Zealand's most loved radio brands from Mai FM, The Edge, George FM, More FM, The Breeze, The Rock, The Sound, Magic, Humm, Channel X and streaming app, rova.
In 2021 MediaWorks engaged Maria Dew KC to undertake an independent review of MediaWorks' workplace culture. After involving 125 current and former staff who came forward to be interviewed as part of the review process as well as more than 480 employees completing a survey as part of the review, there were 32 recommendations made which fell under nine action areas.
Since the publication of the findings in August 2021, MediaWorks has been focussed on its culture transformation and also carried out an external review of its progress in October 2022.
