Over the years, MediaWorks has been proud to support hundreds of charities. We've shed light on many important issues, engaging with millions of New Zealanders to raise awareness. And, with the public’s support, we’ve helped to raise millions of dollars for charities too.

The MediaWorks Foundation is our way of keeping up this good work. By supporting charities we are able to make a wide-reaching, more focused and more meaningful contribution.

How do we do it? We support charities that work hard to make life better for people in New Zealand. We collaborate on projects that shine the spotlight on some of the issues and solutions and engage the public to help address them.


We bring together our communities, our people and our brands to do bright things that make people shine. 

We develop creative strategies that engage, entertain and inform the New Zealand public, generating awareness, support and impact.

The MediaWorks Foundation administers $4.65million of media value each year. We make commitments of approximately $3million for national projects and $1.65million for community projects.
