The challenge was to build awareness of the ‘Give it a V’ sentiment – all about taking an ordinary idea and turning it into something awesome!
Via listener engagement we came up with a novel way to build brand awareness using MediaWorks’ multi-platform suite to connect with V’s target audience.
Jono and Ben from The Rock Drive Show combined the biggest fad of 2014 with a legend of the 90’s – Vanilla Ice, for the ultimate Ice Bucket Challenge – the Vanilla Ice, Ice Bucket Challenge.
The Give it a V campaign was extremely effective and engaging reaching over 1.3 million on Facebook. Plus not to mention successful extending brand results for V, upping media awareness by 11% and increasing year on year sales.
