Milwaukee Tools entered new territory when it joined forces with Three's CRC Motorsport for their a brand new cross-platform promotion. The campaign was Milwaukee Tool's first foray into TV advertising, adding the platform to their current radio and social media mix.
Their goal was to establish themselves in the New Zealand market by reaching their target consumers on a large scale, making CRC Motorsport and their niche audience a perfect partner.
Running primarily on TV, the campaign saw a combination of TVCs, presenter ad libs and banners detailing the competition throughout the show. Milwaukee put together an amazing prize-pack featuring their premium tools as well as spot prizes with branded merchandise.
To maximise their reach, Milwaukee integrated Facebook into the promotion, encouraging viewers to tune in and be in to win, allowing them to connect with more people across the day and throughout the week. As a result the promotion saw an amazing 15,000 entries from TV and hundreds more online, seeing an amazing success story with Milwaukee raising awareness of their place in the New Zealand market.
